We made it to Beijing!
After two days of driving and flying we made it to Beijing! Only they had to leave ALL of the luggage from EVERYONE on the 747 in London. Needless to say, after standing in line 2 hours we got to leave the airport with a promise that our luggage should arrive Monday. Only problem... we leave Sunday for Nanning. Hope to hear more tomorrow.
Being so late, we drove straight to pick-up the other two families & their kids and saw Tiananmen Square and toured the Forbidden City. Amazing! Got to the hotel around 5pm, took showers, crashed then walked to a huge mall 1 block away. The Adcocks were feeling adventuresome and had a great Sichuan Dinner. No luck finding clothes... like trying to buy cheap in Times Square! Shorts $200 US on sale? I don't think so. We'll find something tomorrow if our stuff doesn't arrive.
All in all, we're together, happy, and loving this experience! Just 2.5 days till we see Hayden!

So fun to know you are finally in China! Sorry about the luggage...we will be praying about that important detail!
This is all so exciting! I hope you love every minute of it in spite of your set-back.
our guide had to stay on the phone with the airline reps FOREVER, and we still did without that piece of luggage for a week.
Woo Hoo! Great to see your smiling faces. . . in CHINA. Pinch yourselves!
Hi Guys,
I am so happy all of you got to go to China to pick up your little girl. I have been thinking about your family and praying that all goes well as I know it will. These are priceless moments! Jill Massirer
You all are handling everything so well with your new daughter. God is so good and you all are right, He gives you just the right child for your family. It's quite amazing how that works. Jill Massirer
