We are so excited! We thought, after a 3 year wait, we were more than 8+ years out! But on Thursday (3/12/2010) we got a call from Kimberly, our social worker from Dillon International. We will give more details once our official acceptance is in, but we can't wait for our little 5 year old girl to join her forever family. We should be traveling in the next 3-6 months to bring her home.
We want to thank all of you who have prayed with us, supported us, and asked us about her (and the process). Special thanks to insight of pediatrician, Dr. Susan Keathley.
It's going to be a fun Christmas! ~The Adcock Family

It's Official
We just came from Lacey Platner's 16th birthday. She is now eligible to date and has made a fine choice in our eldest, Parker.
She was "surprised" by one of her favorite bands, Alert All Arms, a lot of friends, and the warmth of her grandparents and family.
So, I guess this makes Tracy and I officially "old". Not as bad as I thought it'd be!

Arggggghhhhhh!
Taking the May Report from Dillon International (our adoption agency), I calculated when we might realistically expect to get notification (picture/bio).
Feels like we've been "expecting" a long time. I truly thought the waiting would be no big deal emotionally. Boy was I wrong!
When we started it was about a two-year wait. We "are" really hoping that we could travel during the Fall semester of Parker's Senior Year. Looks like a Spring 2010 arrival.
I know we have an "on-time" God. Apparently, my watch runs fast!
